JACK DANIEL'S RACING QUOTEBOARD
RICK KELLY - #15 Jack Daniel's Racing Holden Commodore:
"We were in the top 10 for most of the race but towards the end our tyres were not as good as our first two sets and we couldn't maintain good pace," said Rick Kelly.
"The car has got a couple of really good characteristics, which is enabling me to get around the corners reasonably well.
"We've just got a few 'niggly' bits that we need to tune because we've got a bit of oversteer in a couple of corners
"So if we can fix that and get it to look after the tyres better then we should be able to maintain a better lap time.
"Together with that I don't think I did a very good job in qualifying so if we qualify well inside the top 10 tomorrow I think we can finish right up there.
"We also had my drink bottle fail in the car today so it was tough work out there. I'll work hard tonight to re-hydrate and get my body right so that I'll be back to brand new for tomorrow."
TODD KELLY - #7 Jack Daniel's Racing Holden Commodore:
"That was quite a hard race," said Todd Kelly.
"You don't get a lot of time to rest around this track and when you are really fighting the car for 200 kilometres it makes it quite a hard race.
"It was a really frustrating one. There were guys that were catching me and passing me that shouldn't have been and it makes it frustrating out there in the car.
"So we need to do a fair bit of work on the rear of the car for tomorrow. I don't know whether there is something going on with the tyres because earlier on in the weekend we had the opposite problem with the car. But today in qualifying and the race it's changed quite a bit.
"So we need to get our heads around what is going on and makes changes to the car to make it look after its rear tyres, because at the moment we are really killing the rear tyres."
