Coming from an appearance this morning at New Holland my new sponsors headquarters, the rain was almost coming down horizontal. It has been a while since we raced at Eastern Creek as we missed last year.
Its one of the fastest tracks we race on and I find it quite enjoyable when the car is working well, it will be especially challenging if the weather stays the way it is at the moment.
In saying that even though it is one of the most dangerous tracks to drive on in the wet I am quietly looking forward to some wet weather driving here. The car was working extremely well at Winton in the wet, and if not for a silly mistake we would have been up the pointy end all weekend.
The result at Winton alone is a good enough incentive to have a good enough run here at Eastern Creek
Other than that there is not much news on the racing front, other than the debut of a new VE Commodore by Mark this weekend. The car did a sponsor day at Winton and did not have any problems.
Don't forget to drop past the website over the weekend to check out all the news, pictures and results from Eastern Creek.
All the best,
